A Little About Me
Hello all! My name is Susan and this is my business, Pumpkin Builders. I started this business from home to make a little extra money. I realize that the name of the business has absolutely nothing to do with what I offer on the site, but let me explain. I have 4 children, all boys! Their ages are 23, 12, 3 and 1. Crazy, uh..yeah I think so! Anyways, the 3 year old has the nickname Pumpkin because when he was born, his head was perfectly round like a pumpkin. The 12 year old has the tendency of taking apart his toys and building something else, hence his nickname, The Builder. He is also my special needs child and is a handful, but is just so wonderful. Trust me, there is never a dull moment at my house! So, there you go! The name is a little unusual, but it does have people talking! The 23 year old and 1 year old do not feel left out since the older of the two has his own successful life (he purchased this website for his mother, thank you DJ!) and the baby is just too young to know. I'm sure when he gets older, I will need to add a little something to the name!
I am happily married to a wonderful man that I met at my former position at the United States Postal Service. We started on the same day and fell in love while sorting the mail! So, you see, good things do come out of the Postal Service.
